Does it lighten skin?

No injectable is approved for skin lightening, and the clinical evidence behind the trend is weak, so we don’t offer it for that. If brighter, more even skin is the goal, microneedling has far better evidence behind it.

How often should I get it?

Some clients come in weekly for a course of visits; others now and then. We’ll set a schedule that fits your goals.

Is it the same as what’s in your IV formulas?

Yes. It’s also in our Immune Support IV and Myers’ Cocktail. This shot gives you glutathione on its own.

What side effects can happen?

Expect a sore or slightly red spot where the needle went in, for a day or two. A true allergic reaction is rare.

Who should skip it?

If brighter or lighter skin is your goal, this isn’t the right tool, and microneedling will serve you better. If you’re pregnant or nursing, there isn’t enough safety research on glutathione shots, so we’d hold off for now.
