In-Studio
Anti-aging that works with your own skin: softer fine lines and wrinkles, smoother texture, and firmer skin as new collagen builds. Treat your face, or your face and neck, from $450 a session. Done by Nicole, a registered nurse since 2012.
01 · What It Is
Microneedling uses a handheld device with fine, sterile needles to make tiny, controlled punctures in the top layer of your skin. Your skin repairs them by making new collagen and elastin. Over the following weeks that softens fine lines and wrinkles and improves texture, tone, and firmness.
Clients often ask about it after significant weight loss. It can help with texture and mild loss of firmness. It won’t tighten loose skin.
Is This Right for Me?
Your skin makes less collagen every year from your mid-20s on, and microneedling gets it making more. The needles work without heat or light, so it suits all skin tones and types, with less risk of dark spots than many lasers. People notice the biggest change in four places:
The anti-aging reason most people book. New collagen softens fine lines and crepey skin around the eyes, mouth, and forehead, and results keep building for months.
One of the best-supported uses for microneedling. Skin looks smoother and brighter as it renews.
Shallow scars soften over a series of sessions rather than a single visit.
Some weight loss clients add it as their skin adjusts. It helps texture and mild laxity, not loose skin.
Why a Series?
Collagen builds slowly. Your first session starts the process, and each one after builds on the last. That’s why most people get their best results from a series of 3 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Your skin keeps improving for months after your last visit.
Pricing
Pick your area, then a single session or a series. The series costs less per visit, and it’s where the real results are.

| Face & neck | $550 | $1,500 (save $150) |

Good to Know
We apply numbing cream first and give it time to work. That’s part of your hour-long visit. The treatment itself goes faster.
A handheld device passes over the area, making the tiny punctures that prompt new collagen. Most people feel pressure or scratchiness. Ask for a break anytime.
Expect redness like a mild sunburn for 24–48 hours. Wait 24 hours before makeup, skip sweaty workouts the first day, and wear sunscreen. Questions later? Call or text (530) 201-2665.
Microneedling has solid research support for texture, tone, and some types of scarring. Results build gradually as new collagen forms, and most people see the best results from a series of sessions. It isn’t the right choice with active acne, certain skin conditions, or during pregnancy, and we screen for those at your consult.
Topical numbing cream is applied beforehand, so most clients describe it as mild pressure or scratchiness rather than pain.
Expect redness similar to a mild sunburn for 24–48 hours, sometimes with mild swelling. Most people go back to normal activities right away, with sunscreen and gentle skincare for a few days.
Yes, with some spacing. Keep Botox and filler at least 2 weeks away from microneedling, before or after, so each one can settle. Vitamin shots are fine anytime. We’ll help you plan the order.
Please wait if you’re pregnant, have an active breakout or a skin infection (including a cold sore) where we’d treat, or have eczema, psoriasis, or rosacea flaring there. A history of keloid scarring or recent isotretinoin (Accutane) use are also reasons to hold off. We go over this before every session, and if microneedling isn’t right for you yet, we’ll say so.
Redness, mild swelling, and a few days of dryness or flaking are normal. Less often you might see small bruises, a breakout, or a cold sore flare if you’re prone to them. Infection and darker patches of skin are rare. Following the aftercare and wearing sunscreen lowers those risks.
No. This is traditional (collagen-induction) microneedling. RF adds radiofrequency heat and a much higher price tag. For texture, tone, and acne scarring, traditional microneedling has the longer track record.
Most goals respond best to a series of about three sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart. Collagen keeps building for months after, and many clients maintain with a session or two per year.
Give your skin 24 hours before makeup, and skip sweaty workouts the first day. Sweat stings on freshly treated skin and can irritate it.
Yes, it’s one of the best-supported uses. Texture and shallow scars improve over a series. Deep ice-pick scars usually need more than microneedling, and we’ll tell you at your consult if that’s you.
