Does it hurt?
Most people describe a quick pinch with each injection. Numbing usually isn’t needed, and the whole visit takes 15–20 minutes.
What's the difference between Botox and Xeomin?
Both relax expression muscles the same way. Xeomin is a "naked" formula with no added proteins, which some clients prefer. We'll help you decide which fits you at your visit.
Do you offer Daxxify?
Yes. Daxxify is another neurotoxin option, and for some people the results last longer than Botox or Xeomin. Ask about it at your consult and Nicole will walk you through whether it fits and what it costs.
Can I combine this with other treatments?
Yes. Pairing neurotoxin with filler is common, and you can add it to a longer visit like an IV drip. Mention it when you book so we hold enough time.
Can I get Botox and filler on the same day?
Yes. Botox and filler can be done in the same visit. Just keep both at least 2 weeks away from microneedling, before or after, so everything can settle.
Is there any downtime?
None to plan around. You may see small red marks at the injection sites for an hour or two.
Is Botox safe?
Botox has been FDA-approved for frown lines since 2002, and cosmetic doses are small. The common side effects are a small bruise, tenderness at the injection sites, or a mild headache for a day or two. Less often, an eyelid or brow droops a little. That’s temporary and usually fades within a few weeks, and we’ll look at it together at your two-week check-in.
When is Botox not the right fit?
Please wait if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding. Skip it if you have a neuromuscular condition like myasthenia gravis or ALS, if you’ve had a reaction to a botulinum toxin product before, or if you have an infection or rash where we’d inject. And if your lines stay deep even when your face is relaxed, Botox will soften them but may not erase them. Filler or microneedling can do more there, and we’ll tell you at your consult.
Will I look frozen?
Only if you want to. Some people want softened lines with natural movement, and some like a smoother, more frozen look. We dose based on your treatment goals.
What's the aftercare?
Stay upright for 4 hours. Skip hard workouts and don’t rub or massage the treated areas for 24 hours. Softening starts around day 3–5, and the full effect shows at day 10–14.
How often will I need it?
Most clients re-treat every 3–4 months. Consistent timing tends to make results last a bit longer over time.
Do you do lip flips?
Yes. A lip flip uses a few units at the upper lip for a subtle lift. Ask at your visit and we’ll see if it fits your goals.
