How much filler do I need?
We’ll recommend an amount based on your anatomy and goals at your consult. Adding more later is easy.
Does it hurt?
Most cheek fillers include a numbing agent in the product itself, and we can apply topical numbing beforehand too. Most clients describe pressure more than sharp pain.
How long does it last?
Usually 12–18 months in the cheeks, longer than softer areas like the lips. It varies by person.
Is this a good pairing with weight loss treatment?
Many clients on our GLP-1 program add cheek filler once their weight has stabilized, to restore volume the face lost along the way. If you’re still losing, wait until your weight settles. Ask us about timing at your consult.
Will I look overfilled or puffy?
Overfilled cheeks come from too much product placed too shallow. We build along the cheekbone over one or two visits so you can stop when it looks right.
Is cheek filler reversible?
Yes. We use Juvéderm, a hyaluronic acid filler, which can be dissolved if you ever want to adjust or undo the result.
Can I combine it with Botox?
Yes, and many clients do both in the same visit. Neurotoxin softens expression lines and filler restores volume, so they work well together. If you’re also planning microneedling, keep it at least 2 weeks before or after your filler.
Is there downtime?
Minimal. Some swelling or bruising for a few days is normal; most clients go straight back to their day. We’ll give you the full aftercare rundown at your visit.
What can go wrong?
Swelling, tenderness, and bruising are common and pass within days. Lumps or unevenness are uncommon, and we can usually smooth or dissolve them. The rare serious risk is filler blocking a blood vessel. Warning signs include severe or worsening pain, skin that turns pale or dusky, or any change in your vision.
