Our take on a classic formula.

Named for Dr. John Myers, who developed the original formula decades ago, this is our version of the classic IV vitamin blend: amino acids, vitamin C, glutathione, magnesium chloride, and taurine in an IV fluid base. Every provider's recipe varies a bit, and this is ours.

It's a general wellness option rather than a fix for one goal, which makes it a good first IV if you're not sure where to start.

Few controlled studies have tested the Myers’ Cocktail in people without a vitamin or mineral deficiency, and most of what's out there is anecdotal. We offer it because most people tolerate it well and it's a comfortable first IV. It isn't proven to treat any condition. If you have kidney disease or a heart condition, or you're pregnant, tell us at your visit before we start.

Is the Myers' Cocktail proven to work?

The evidence is strongest for correcting a true nutrient deficiency. People report broader benefits, but large controlled trials haven't confirmed them.

What does it feel like?

Most people feel relaxed during the infusion. A brief warm flush from the magnesium partway through is common and passes quickly.

Who shouldn't get this?

If you have kidney disease or a heart condition, or you're pregnant or breastfeeding, this may not be the right IV for you. Extra fluid and minerals can be harder on your body in those cases. Tell us at your visit and we'll talk through whether it makes sense.

How is this different from your other IV formulas?

It's the all-around blend. Our other IVs each aim at one goal, like immunity, recovery, or hangover relief. The table above compares all six.

Can I combine it with another service?

Yes. You can add a vitamin shot or another treatment to the same visit.

Are there side effects?

Soreness or a small bruise where the IV goes in is the most common. The magnesium flush passes on its own. Less often, the IV slips out of the vein and the area swells. We watch for that and fix it right away.
