Is it safe?

Tesamorelin has more safety research behind it than most peptides on our menu, from the trials for its approved use. Side effects seen in those trials include redness or itching where you inject, joint and muscle aches, swelling in the hands or feet, and tingling or numbness. It can also raise blood sugar, so tell us if you have diabetes or prediabetes. We go over your health history before you start.

Who shouldn't take Tesamorelin?

Skip it if you're pregnant or breastfeeding. The same goes if you have active cancer, a pituitary tumor, or past pituitary surgery or head radiation. If you compete in a drug-tested sport, Tesamorelin is on the World Anti-Doping Agency's banned list. And if your main goal is overall weight loss, GLP-1 medications are better studied for that; see our weight loss page.
