An IV infusion at the Refine Redding Studio in Redding
In-Studio, Private Room

How It Works

Fast rehydration, plus something for the nausea.

Alcohol makes you lose fluid, so a rough night usually leaves you dehydrated on top of everything else. This IV puts fluids straight into your bloodstream, which works faster than drinking water, and adds Zofran (ondansetron) for nausea, plus B-complex and B12.

Rehydration and Zofran can take the edge off nausea and fatigue. They don't undo the way your body processes alcohol overnight, so some grogginess or brain fog may stick around.

Good to Know

Rehydration is the clearest benefit here. IV fluids replace what alcohol pulls out of you, faster than drinking water can. Zofran is a prescription anti-nausea medication, and we go over your health history before including it. Neither one reverses how your body breaks down alcohol, so some grogginess can stick around. If you're severely dehydrated or can't keep fluids down at all, you need urgent medical care rather than a wellness visit, and we'll tell you so.

Hangover Relief IV FAQs

Not sure an IV is what you need today? Text us and we'll help you decide.

Will this cure my hangover completely?

It eases dehydration symptoms like headache and fatigue. It won't reverse how your body processed the alcohol overnight, so some grogginess can linger.

How fast will I feel better?

Most people notice a difference during or shortly after the infusion, since fluids go straight into your bloodstream rather than through digestion.

Is it safe to get this the same day I've been drinking?

Generally yes, once you're no longer intoxicated and can get to the Studio safely. If you're still impaired, please wait, and have someone else drive.

What if I can't keep anything down?

That's a sign you may need more than a wellness IV. Please go to urgent care or the ER first.

Does it include something for nausea?

Yes. Zofran (ondansetron), a prescription anti-nausea medication, is part of this formula. We go over your health history at your visit to make sure it's safe for you.

Are there side effects?

Most people feel fine. You might notice soreness or a small bruise where the IV goes in. Zofran can cause a headache or constipation in some people.

Who shouldn't get this IV?

This one isn't for you if you're still intoxicated, can't keep fluids down, or have kidney or heart failure. Zofran isn't safe for everyone either. Skip it if you've reacted to ondansetron before, have long QT syndrome or another heart rhythm problem, or take apomorphine. Tell us about any heart medications and we'll sort out what's safe.
